Applying to the Graduate Certificate Program
Minimum Requirements for Acceptance
- Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree, preferably in a health-related or social service discipline, e.g. Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Gerontology, Sociology, Health Education, etc.
- A GPA of 2.5 or better.
Applying to the Program
Applications are accepted on a year round basis. If you are applying to begin the program in the Fall you must submit your application no later than July 1 and if you are applying to begin the program in the Spring you must submit y our application no later than November 1.
This program is designed for working professionals and in order to apply to the program you will need to submit the following:
- A non degree registration request
- A short (one page) essay describing why you want to be in the program and how this training will advance your professional development career aspirations
- A copy of your current resume (including two years of work experience in a health related field)
- A copy of all of your academic transicpts
