Job opportunities in geriatrics and gerontology are expected to grow by more than 35% - ranking among the most rapidly growing employment areas, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. To meet the demand for geriatric care professionals, the University of Florida is offering an online Certificate in Geriatric Care Management.
This program is offered in a unique partnership between the University of Florida's Division of Continuing Education and UF's Department of Behavioral Sciences and Community Health in the College of Public Health and Health Professions. The program is appropriate for new graduates or working professionals interested in a career in the care management of our elderly.
